February 22, 2006 - We've posted the pictures from the recent Fozzy Winter UK Tour 2006 which was a great success all around. Featuring Fozzy, Forever Never and Nineteenth Century, all three bands tore it up and everyone had a great time. (Note, sorry for the lighting, or lack of, on some of these. Lighting guys just don't like to light the band from the front in clubs it seems! Must be a lot of ugly bands out there!) Click here to view the pics.

View the photosAugust 05, 2005 - Well, the Greenville guest appearance was an amazing event to say the least! Almost 4,000 people turned out for the grand opening of the new Guitar Center to check out the live music and get some great deals on gear. While in Greenville, Guitar Center also flew in world famous rock photographer Robert M. Knight to do a photo shoot with Rich. The photos they choose will be seen, larger-than-life, on the sides of new Guitar Centers opening around the country. How freakin' cool is that?! Click here to check out some of Robert's photos as well as some of my own, behind-the-scenes pics. Dig it!

August 1, 2004 - The Duke's showcase performance at the 2004 Atlantis Music Conference has led to discussions with a New York-based company. Initial indications are that this tree will bear some fruit. Based on these developments the band has returned to the studio to write and record at least three new songs.

July 24, 2004 - The Duke performed their first hometown show at Smith's Old Bar as part of the 2004 Atlantis Music Conference - one of the industry's premier music events. The set list was as follows:

  • Used To Be
  • Never Coming Back
  • (Show You) The Way
  • Running
  • In Your Eyes (Peter Gabriel)
  • I Give To You

Being only their second live performance this show was kept way under the radar. Despite not being heavily promoted by the band or its management there was enough buzz to draw a good crowd including a handful of industry notables.

July 4, 2004 - The Duke debuted their live show in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. You've probably heard about bands playing low-profile, unpromoted shows to work the bugs out. Well, The Duke and company set the bar for the rest of the industry by taking the show 1500 miles north and out of the country! The club had a western motif and was named "Cowboy's." So, being from the south, at least the band didn't feel too out of place. Thankfully, the show went smoothly and the next gig shouldn't require a passport.
